This page explains how to request deletion of your Toolqit account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to accounts used with the Toolqit service, including the Toolqit mobile app, and supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. About Toolqit Accounts
Toolqit accounts are provisioned and managed by your organization, typically the managed service provider you work for. There is no self-serve signup: your account was created by your organization’s administrator, and your organization controls the business data you work with inside Toolqit, such as tickets and customer conversations.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your account in two ways:
- Through your organization: ask your administrator to remove your account from Toolqit. This is usually the fastest route.
- Directly with us: email founders@toolqit.ai with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address associated with your account, and include your name and your organization’s name. If you can no longer access that email address, tell us and we will verify your identity another way.
We confirm and complete verified deletion requests within thirty days.
3. What Is Deleted
- your profile information: name, email address, phone number, and login credentials;
- device registrations and push notification tokens for the mobile app; and
- voice recordings are not retained in the first place: audio you dictate is transcribed in real time and only the text is kept as part of the message you send.
4. What Is Retained
Tickets, messages, and related work records are business records that belong to your organization, not to your individual account. They remain available to your organization under its agreement with Toolqit even after your account is deleted, with your authorship preserved as required for record keeping. Your organization controls deletion of that data. We may also retain limited information where required by law, such as security logs, which are kept for at least thirteen months and then deleted.
